Golden Globe Awards kembali digelar untuk ke-69 kalinya, Minggu (16/1/2012) malam waktu setempat, di Beverly Hills, Amerika Serikat. Di ajang itu, aktris Kate Winslet kembali meraih penghargaan.
Seperti dilansir dari situs resmi Golden Globe, Senin (16/1/2012), Kate sukses dinobatkan sebagai Aktris Terbaik untuk Mini Seri-Serial Televisi. Kate meraih penghargaan itu berkat aktingnya di 'Mildred Pierce'.
'Mildred Pierce' merupakan mini seri yang diadaptasi dari novel karya James M. Cain. Mini seri itu disutradarai oleh Todd Haynes dan ditayangkan di HBO.
Sebelumnya, di Golden Globe 2008 lalu, Kate mendapat dua penghargaan sekaligus. Yaitu Aktris Terbaik untuk 'Revolutionary Road' dan Aktris Pendukung Terbaik untuk 'The Reader'.
